En este trabajo se sintetizan los complejos con dos pirazoles coordinados trans-
[Ru(pz*H)2(NCMe)4]2+ (pz*H = pirazol, indazol, dimetilpirazol). A partir de ellos se
obtienen los correspondientes complejos pirazolilamidino cis,trans,cis-
[Ru(NCMe)2(NH=C(Me)pz*-κ2-N,N)2]2+, como resultado de la inserción del triple enlace
carbono-nitrógeno del acetonitrilo en el enlace N-H del pirazol. Estos complejos
cis,trans,cis se someten a irradiación con luz tanto visible como UV, obteniéndose los
fotoisómeros trans,trans,trans-[Ru(NCMe)2(NH=C(Me)pz*-κ2-N,N)2]2+.
Uno de los objetivos últimos del trabajo es acceder a complejos con tres ligandos
bidentados nitrógeno-dadores del tipo [Ru(bipy)3]2+. Para ello, se estudia la reactividad
de los complejos sintetizados frente a pirazoles, lo que ha permitido obtener el compuesto
mer-[Ru(NH=C(Me)pz-κ2-N,N)3]2+.
Tras el proceso de síntesis de los complejos se procede a su determinación estructural,
tanto en disolución como en estado sólido. Los complejos sintetizados en este trabajo han
sido caracterizados por RMN y en algunos casos por difracción de rayos-X de
monocristal.
Complexes with two coordinated pyrazoles trans-[Ru(pz*H)2(NCMe)4]2+ (pz*H =
pyrazol, indazol, dimethylpyrazol) are herein synthesized and caracterized. The
corresponding pyrazolilamidino complexes cis,trans,cis-[Ru(NCMe)2(NH=C(Me)pz*-
κ2-N,N)2]2+ are obtained from them, as a result of the insertion of the carbon-nitrogen
triple bond of acetonitrile into the N-H bond of pyrazole. This cis,trans,cis complexes are
irradiated with electromagnetic radiation, both visible and UV, yielding the photoismers
trans,trans,trans-[Ru(NCMe)2(NH=C(Me)pz*-κ2-N,N)2]2+.
One of the final objectives of this work is obtaining complexes with three bidentate,
nitrogen-donor ligands, similar to [Ru(bipy)3]2+ species. For that matter, the reactivity of
the synthesized complexes toward pyrazoles has been explored, leading to the complex
mer-[Ru(NH=C(Me)pz*-κ2-N,N)3]2+.
After the synthesis of the complexes, the structural determination is carried out, both in
solid state and in solution. All the complexes synthesized in this work have been
caracterized by NMR and in several cases by monocristal X-Ray diffraction.
