Se analiza la realidad de la mujer griega y se compara con la imagen que proponen ciertos mitos griegos antiguos donde la mujer es la protagonista, en este caso, el mito de las Amazonas. También se hace un análisis de tres mujeres, Gorgo de Esparta, Artemisia de Halicarnaso y Aspasia de Mileto, consideradas excepcionales o “fuera de la norma”. Por último, con el objetivo de acercar esta realidad a los tiempos presentes, se estudia la representación femenina en el cine moderno a través de Gorgo y Artemisia en las dos películas de la saga 300. This study examines the socio-political incapacity of Athenian women in the Classical period. It discusses the reality of Greek women and compares it with the image proposed by certain ancient Greek myths in which women are the protagonists, in this case, the myth of the Amazons. An analysis is also made of three women, Gorgo of Sparta, Artemisia of Halicarnassus and Aspasia of Miletus, considered exceptional or "outside the norm".
