En el siguiente artículo analizamos el sindicalismo agrario de tendencia reformista que surgió durante la Transición española, mediante el estudio del ejemplo concreto de la Asociación Empresarial Provincial Agraria (AEPA), creado en la provincia de Valladolid en 1977. Tras realizar una primera aproximación al panorama general del sindicalismo agrario español de la segunda mitad de los setenta, el texto se centra en el estudio de los antecedentes, creación y primer desarrollo de AEPA, para lo cual utilizamos prensa provincial y documentación del Gobierno Civil. El objetivo es mostrar que los sectores agrarios conservadores reformistas también fueron responsables de buena parte del proceso de expansión del sindicalismo que se produjo en el campo español durante la Transición. /
This paper analyses the agricultural unionism of reformist trend that rose up during the Spanish Transition through the specific example of the Asociación Empresarial Provincial Agraria (AEPA), a farmer union created in Valladolid in 1977. First, we are going to realise a brief approach to the general context of the Spanish agricultural unionism in the second half of the seventies. Then, we will focus our attention on the analysis of the background, creation, and first development of AEPA. For this, we use the provincial press and documentation of the Civil Government. The main objective is to show that the reformist conservative agricultural groups also were responsible for the unionisation that emerged in the Spanish countryside during the Transition.
