Protección penal frente a la violencia de género

La violencia de género es aquella ejercida por el varón contra su esposa o
exesposa, o contra la mujer con la que tenga o haya tenido una relación de
afectividad, aún sin convivencia y como para erradicarla debemos enfocarnos
en una posible reforma del código penal y de como se debe concienciar a la
sociedad, a través de la ayuda de instrumentos jurídicos como el Convenio de
Estambul en el ámbito internacional o mediante la aprobación de distintas leyes
o reformas que se han aprobado a lo largo de los años.
Gender-based violence is that exercised by a man against his wife or ex-wife, or
against the woman with whom he has or has had an affective relationship, even
without cohabitation, and in order to eradicate it we must focus on a possible
reform of the penal code and how to raise awareness in society, through the
help of legal instruments such as the Istanbul Convention in the international
arena or through the approval of different laws or reforms that have been
approved over the years.
