La mutilación genital femenina en el derecho internacional

El propósito de este trabajo es analizar la mutilación genital femenina,
también conocida como ablación, explorando esta práctica desde el punto de
vista del derecho internacional. Para el análisis de la mutilación genital
femenina, este TFG inicia con una contextualización a través del marco teórico;
que es y que tipos hay, como se realiza y su prevalencia a día de hoy, porque
sigue siendo una realidad en muchos países y un vistazo al Matrimonio Infantil.
En segundo lugar se explicará más en detalle la normativa más relevante en el
ámbito internacional, europeo y en España. Por últimos, se expondrán las
diferentes estrategias que se consideran más que necesarias para que la
erradicación de la mutilación genital femenina sea posible en el futuro.
The purpose of this paper is to analyze female genital mutilation, also
known as cutting, exploring this practice from the point of view of international
law. For the analysis of female genital mutilation, this TFG begins with a
contextualization through the theoretical framework; what it is and what type
there is, how it is performed and its prevalence today, why it is still a reality in
many countries and a look at Child Marriage. Secondly, the most relevant
international, European and Spanish regulations will be explained in more
detail. Finally, the different strategies that are considered more than necessary
for the eradication of female genital mutilation to be possible in the future will be
presented.
