El compromiso con el espacio colectivo dirige la estrategia formal de obras como el MuBE, donde el ingenio inocente de construir una horizontal en el aire se funde con el gesto arcaico de elevar un dintel, arcaísmo cuyo carácter se preserva con la tecnología sofisticada y silente que construye la abstracción formal resultante. Ese deseo comporta reformular las categorías con las que construir la arquitectura: relación entre forma y estructura, implantación del edificio en el suelo, conciencia del lugar, relación entre interior y exterior, construcción como acto poético, relación entre técnica y naturaleza.
