Desde el principio, la tradición de cargar andas procesionales ha sido un acto de
devoción y sacrificio, marcado por el esfuerzo físico de los hermanos de carga. Sin
embargo, el reparto desigual de las cargas ha sido una constante fuente de
sufrimiento y desgaste. En la era de la tecnología y el conocimiento, es imperativo que
la ingeniería se alinee con estas prácticas ancestrales, buscando soluciones
innovadoras. Este estudio propone analizar científicamente el peso y la distribución de
las cargas, así como la frecuencia de paso de los portadores, utilizando herramientas
modernas, como programas analíticos y sensores.
La meta es establecer un campo de estudio que optimice la distribución de los pesos
entre los hermanos de carga, garantizando así una experiencia equitativa y armoniosa.
De esta manera, las procesiones de Semana Santa aspirarán no solo a mantener su
solemnidad, sino a reflejar un avance hacia el bienestar de sus participantes.
From the outset, the tradition of carrying processional litters has been an act of
devotion and sacrifice, characterized by the physical exertion of the loadbearing brethren. However, the unequal distribution of loads has been a
persistent source of suffering and weariness. In this era of technological
advancement and burgeoning knowledge, it is imperative that engineering
converges with these ancient practices to seek innovative solutions. This study
endeavours to scientifically analyse the weight and distribution of loads, as well
as the step frequency of the bearers, utilizing modern tools such as analytical
software and sensors.
The objective is to establish a scholarly field that optimizes the distribution of
weight among the brethren, thereby ensuring an equitable and harmonious
experience. In this manner, the Holy Week processions will aspire to not only
retain their solemnity but also to exemplify progress towards the well-being of
their participants.
