<dim:field mdschema="dc" element="description" qualifier="abstract" lang="es">La titulación de educación social y su visión y trascendencia dentro del ámbito profesional ha variado mucho desde su aparición hasta hoy, desempeñando su labor profesional principalmente en diferentes contextos sociales y educativos y también, cada día más, en los centros escolares.&#xd;
En este trabajo analizamos la relación entre los contenidos impartidos de la Familia Profesional de Servicios Sociocultares y la Comunidad y los estudios del Grado de Educación Social, valorando la formación de los educadores sociales como óptima para el desempeño de la labor docente dentro de la misma. Posteriormente se valora el desarrollo profesional de un educador social como Profesor Técnico de Servicios a la Comunidad dentro del Ciclo Formativo de Educación Infantil. Se pretende, en definitiva, analizar la competencia de los educadores sociales como docentes y como formadores de formadores a través de mi experiencia profesional en este ámbito.</dim:field>
<dim:field mdschema="dc" element="description" qualifier="abstract" lang="es">The Degree in Social Education and its view and importance within the professional family has varied to a great extent since its origin to nowadays. It has accomplished its work through different educational spheres; schools and other fields of influence, having achieved high appreciation.&#xd;
In this research we analyze the contents taught in the studies of the Vocational family of Sociocultural and Community Services and the Degree in Social Education. We consider the studies of social educators as appropriate to accomplish their educational work. Besides, in this research we also take into account the professional development of the social educator towards a teacher of Community Services, a field which includes the vocational studies of pre-school education. Throughout my broad experience on that field, I would like to analyze social educators competence to work not only as teachers but also as educator´s trainers.</dim:field>
