Facultad de Filosofía y Letras Se entiende por terremoto al temblor y movimiento del suelo causado por el desplazamiento de la corteza terrestre. Este fenómeno puede tener muchas repercusiones en un territorio, afectando a la población, a la actividad económica y a las infraestructuras. La falta de preparación por parte de los países ante los desastres naturales es uno de los principales motivos por los que un territorio acaba siendo más vulnerable, especialmente en áreas donde no están acostumbrados a que se produzcan eventos sísmicos. Por ello, en este estudio se pretende analizar y comparar la vulnerabilidad y la respuesta de emergencia que hubo en el terremoto de Lorca (España) en 2011 y el terremoto de Marruecos en 2023, contrastando al mismo tiempo un país desarrollado, con otro en vías de desarrollo.
