Este trabajo de fin de grado pretende ofrecer una visión sobre qué es el daño cerebral
adquirido y cómo afecta a las personas que lo sufren. Abordará los conceptos esenciales
para comprender los motivos de la lesión, sus secuelas, así como los cambios en el
entorno y en la calidad de vida. Este tipo de lesiones no solo afectan a las personas qué
lo sufren sino también a su entorno más directo y a la comunidad. Por este mismo
motivo la figura del trabajador social es esencial, debe servir como herramienta para
mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas y conseguir una integración en todos los
ámbitos.
Tras una revisión documental se procederá a una investigación metodológica donde
podremos acercarnos a la realidad mediante los resultados obtenidos a través de los
cuestionarios realizados. Una vez conseguidos dichos datos se procederá al análisis de
estos y se explicarán aquellas limitaciones que se han encontrado durante la
investigación. Finalmente se expondrán las conclusiones que hemos obtenido con
respecto a este trabajo.
This end-of-grade work aims to offer an insight into what acquired brain damage is and
how it affects the people that suffers it. It will address the essential concepts to
understand the reasons for the injury, its sequels, as well as the changes in the
environment and in the quality of life. This kind of injuries not only affects the people
who suffer it but also their closest environment and the community. For this exact
reason the figure of the social worker is essential, it should serve as a tool to improve
people´s quality of life and achieve integration in all areas.
After a documentary review it will come a methodological investigation where we can
get closer to reality through the results we obtained from the questionnaires. Once
these data have been obtained, an analysis of these will be carried out and the
limitations that have been encountered during the investigation will be explained.
Finally, the conclusions we have obtained among this work will be exposed.
