Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado muestra las actitudes sociales hacia la discapacidad con el
fin de valorar si la sociedad está preparada para la Estrategia Española sobre Discapacidad
2022-2030 o si, por el contrario, sigue siendo necesario que aumenten las campañas de
sensibilización. A su vez, se ha realizado un estudio sobre dicha estrategia a través de
cuatro entrevistas a personas que estarían afectadas por esta, y que pueden aportar
diferentes puntos de vista que valoren las ventajas y desventajas de esta acción inclusiva
y justifiquen la necesidad de su aplicación. Se ha utilizado dos instrumentos de
investigación basados en una metodología mixta (método cuantitativo y cualitativo) que
permita una mayor riqueza en la investigación: dos cuestionarios que midan las actitudes
sociales hacia la discapacidad y entrevistas basadas en un guion semiestructurado. La
necesidad de este estudio viene dada por la controversia en torno a si implantar un sistema
único de educación favorecería una mejora de la calidad educativa para todos los
estudiantes (atendiendo a las necesidades de cada uno) y, a su vez, cumplir con lo
estipulado por la Organización de Naciones Unidas (ONU) en materia de cumplimiento
con los derechos humanos. De hecho, el 22 de abril de este mismo año el Comité de
Derechos Humanos de Naciones Unidas ha vuelto a emitir otro informe al comprobar que
a pesar de que ha habido avances en materia de inclusión y hay textos legislativos en los
que se habla de educación inclusiva, sigue sin ser efectiva ni real.
This Final Degree Project shows social attitudes towards disability in order to assess
whether society is ready for the Spanish Disability Strategy 2022-2030 or whether, on the
contrary, it is still necessary to increase awareness campaigns. At the same time, a study
on this strategy has been carried out through four interviews with people who would be
affected by it, and who can provide different points of view that assess the advantages
and disadvantages of this inclusive action and justify the need for its implementation. Two
research instruments based on a mixed methodology (quantitative and qualitative method)
have been used to allow a greater richness in the research: two questionnaires that
measure social attitudes towards disability and interviews based on a semi-structured
script. The need for this study arises from the controversy over whether implementing a
single system of education would favor an improvement in the quality of education for
all students (taking into account the needs of each one) and, at the same time, comply
with the stipulations of the United Nations (UN) in terms of compliance with human
rights. In fact, on April 22nd of this year, the United Nations Human Rights Committee
issued another report stating that although there has been progress in terms of inclusion
and there are legislative texts in which inclusive education is mentioned, it is still not
effective or real.
