Facultad de Filosofía y Letras Este trabajo investiga las implicaciones filosóficas del Principio Antrópico, un concepto que desafía tanto las perspectivas tradicionales sobre el azar y la necesidad, como la comprensión de las constantes físicas y las condiciones iniciales del universo, pues sugiere que el universo debe ser compatible con la existencia de observadores conscientes debido a que las propiedades de éste están determinadas para tal fin. A lo largo del estudio se presenta un análisis histórico; se exploran las distintas variantes del principio; se dedica un capítulo a las polémicas que ha generado, abordando objeciones científicas y debates filosóficos sobre su validez. Finalmente, se profundiza en las implicaciones filosóficas del principio, considerando su impacto en distintos campos del saber. El estudio pretende proporcionar una visión crítica sobre la relevancia del Principio Antrópico como candidato metafísico útil que puede orientar la búsqueda de datos en la dirección acertada. Al final, se argumenta que el Principio Antrópico, más que ofrecer respuestas definitivas, abre nuevas vías para el diálogo interdisciplinario, resaltando la necesidad de una colaboración continua entre la ciencia y la filosofía para abordar las preguntas más profundas sobre la existencia humana y el cosmos. This work investigates the philosophical implications of the Anthropic Principle, a concept that challenges both traditional perspectives on chance and necessity, as well as the understanding of the physical constants and initial conditions of the universe, as it suggests that the universe must be compatible with the existence of conscious observers because its properties are determined for this purpose. Throughout the study a historical analysis is presented; the different variants of the principle are explored; A chapter is dedicated to the controversies it has generated, addressing scientific objections and philosophical debates about its validity. Finally, the philosophical implications of the principle are delved into, considering its impact on different fields of knowledge. The study aims to provide a critical vision on the relevance of the Anthropic Principle as a useful metaphysical candidate that can guide the search for data in the right direction.
