Durante este período, los niños avanzan significativamente en la adquisición de un vocabulario más extenso, mejoran su expresión verbal y escrita, y comprenden mejor las reglas gramaticales y ortográficas. Este estudio se centra en explorar cómo estos niños emplean el lenguaje en su vida cotidiana y escolar, utilizando diversas fuentes como observaciones en el aula y análisis de textos escritos. Se busca identificar patrones en su desarrollo lingüístico y analizar influencias externas que puedan afectar su forma de comunicarse y adquirir vocabulario. Comprender estos procesos permitirá ofrecer herramientas y estrategias tanto a educadores como a familias para apoyar eficazmente el crecimiento lingüístico de los niños. Además, este trabajo contribuirá al conocimiento sobre la adquisición y uso del lenguaje en la infancia, informando así políticas educativas y lingüísticas pertinentes. The language development of children in the second cycle of primary education, aged between 8 and 10 years old, is a critical aspect of their growth and education. During this period, children experience significant advancements in their ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. This linguistic progress is evident not only in their acquisition of a broader vocabulary but also in their improved ability to express themselves and understand grammar and spelling rules. This study focuses on exploring how children use their language in their daily lives and within the school context. It draws upon various data sources, including classroom observations and analyses of written texts. The aim is to identify patterns and trends in language development within this age group and to analyze external influences that may impact their communication skills and vocabulary acquisition. By gaining a better understanding of the linguistic development process, educators and families can be equipped with tools and strategies to support children's linguistic and communicative growth effectively during this crucial stage of development.
