Debido al desconocimiento del folklore castellano entre los estudiantes, el objetivo de este Trabajo
Fin de Grado es difundir la cultura del folklore castellano al alumnado de Educación Primaria de
un colegio público de Valladolid en el que el mayor porcentaje de alumnado es de etnia gitana y
de estudiantes de diferentes nacionalidades. Además, el centro cuenta con un alto absentismo
escolar. Para ello, se ha elaborado y puesto en práctica una intervención educativa dentro del área
de Música y Danza, que consta de cuatro sesiones centradas en el acercamiento a los trajes típicos
de nuestra localidad, la música y los instrumentos que lo acompañan y el baile regional: la jota.
Con esta intervención se pretende además trabajar la interculturalidad ya que entre los estudiantes
hay distintas nacionalidades, promoviendo el respeto hacia otras culturas y la socialización entre
el alumnado.
El análisis de los cuestionarios ha permitido observar que el grado de interés medio inicial de los
estudiantes sobre el aprendizaje del folklore castellano fue de 3,75 sobre 5 puntos. Siendo el grado
de satisfacción para las diferentes actividades realizadas durante la intervención educativa muy
elevado.
Por último, con este acercamiento a las aulas, se quiere evitar que se pierda la tradición de bailar
la jota castellana y que quede en el olvido la música tradicional de Castilla y León.
Due to the lack of knowledge of Castilian folklore among students, the objective of this Final
Degree Project is to disseminate the culture of Castilian folklore to Primary Education students of
a public school in Valladolid in which the highest percentage of students are of gypsy ethnicity and
students of different nationalities. In addition, the school has a high school absenteeism. To this
end, an educational intervention has been developed and put into practice within the area of Music
and Dance, which consists of four sessions focused on the approach to the typical costumes of our
town, the music and the instruments that accompany it and the regional dance: the jota.
This intervention also aims to work on interculturality since there are different nationalities among
the students, promoting respect for other cultures and socialization among the students.
The analysis of the questionnaires has allowed us to observe that the average initial degree of
interest of the students in learning Castilian folklore was 3.75 out of 5 points. The degree of
satisfaction for the different activities carried out during the educational intervention was very
high.
Finally, with this approach to the classroom, the aim is to prevent the tradition of dancing the
Castilian jota from being lost and the traditional music of Castilla y León from being forgotten.
