Concretamente se fundamenta en el desarrollo de las competencias orales a lo largo de la etapa de Educación Primaria, considerando imprescindible crear situaciones significativas en el aula que permitan al alumnado adquirir, en este caso, la lengua inglesa de una forma participativa y motivadora, mejorando sus habilidades lingüísticas de habla y escucha, y favoreciendo el interés y el gusto por la lengua secundaria. La situación de aprendizaje que se propone está destinada al 6º curso de la etapa y sus objetivos fundamentales son el desarrollo competencial comunicativo del alumnado, la adquisición de lengua extranjera (LE) (concretamente de las habilidades orales) y la motivación por la lengua inglesa como medio por el que conocer el mundo que les rodea y transmitir sus propias experiencias. Concretamente, se trabaja por medio del trabajo en equipo y el empleo de roles, exponiendo al alumnado a distintas situaciones comunicativas para descubrir los países de habla inglesa, saber desenvolverse en situaciones relativas a los viajes y, finalmente, a la creación de un podcast como medio por el que expresarse en la actualidad. Además, se consideran fundamentales la flexibilidad y adaptabilidad de la situación de aprendizaje a las características y necesidades individuales de los estudiantes para un aprendizaje significativo. This Final Degree Project analyses bilingualism and the acquisition of a second language from a competence and communicative perspective. Specifically, it is based on the development of oral skills throughout the Primary Education stage, considering it essential to create meaningful situations in the classroom that allow students to acquire, in this case, the English language in a participatory and motivating way, improving their speaking and listening skills, and promoting interest and enjoyment of the secondary language. The learning situation proposed in this Final Degree Project is aimed at the 6th year of the Primary Education stage. Its main objectives are the development of the students’ communicative competence, the acquisition of a secondary language (in particular, its oral skills) and the motivation for the English language as a means of getting to know the world around them and transmitting their own experiences. Specifically, the proposal is based on teamwork and the use of roles, exposing students to different communicative situations in order to discover English-speaking countries, to know how to get by in situations related to travel, and, finally, to create a podcast as a means of expressing themselves in the present day.
