El papel del centro educativo ante la problemática del bullying o acoso escolar

Hoy en día, el acoso escolar se ha consolidado como un problema creciente en
los centros educativos de todo el mundo, afectando a un número cada vez mayor de
niños y adolescentes. Por ello, es indispensable que desde los centros escolares se
analice este fenómeno educativo y social, buscando soluciones efectivas para
afrontarlo. En este Trabajo de Fin de Máster nos proponemos profundizar en el acoso
escolar, enfocándonos en sus dimensiones sociales y educativas. Para ello, a través de
un proceso de investigación cualitativa, hemos recopilado y analizado documentación y
las opiniones del profesorado y alumnado de un centro educativo con el fin de conocer
su visión y experiencias sobre la problemática del bullying. Los resultados obtenidos
indican las graves consecuencias del acoso en sus distintas manifestaciones, la
existencia de factores que contribuyen a su aparición y mantenimiento, la formación
deficiente del profesorado en este ámbito, y el creciente interés de los centros en
implantar medidas preventivas y protocolos de actuación eficaces contra el acoso
escolar.
Today, bullying has become a growing problem in educational centers around the
world, affecting an increasing number of children and adolescents. Therefore, it is
essential that schools analyze this educational and social phenomenon, seeking
effective solutions to confront it. In this Master's Thesis we propose to delve deeper into
bullying, focusing on its social and educational dimensions. To do this, through a
qualitative research process, we have compiled and analyzed documentation and the
opinions of teachers and students of an educational center in order to know their vision
and experiences on the problem of bullying. The results obtained indicate the serious
consequences of bullying in its different manifestations, the existence of factors that
contribute to its appearance and maintenance, the poor training of teachers in this area,
and the growing interest of centers in implementing preventive measures and action
protocols. effective against bullying.
