La reinserción en el ámbito del Derecho penitenciario

El fin último de las penas privativas de libertad es la reinserción y reeducación de los internos.
El Estado debe garantizar que, el periodo en el que el delincuente se encuentra privado de
libertad sirva para que quiera respetar la ley y no vuelva a delinquir una vez vuelva a la sociedad.
A través de los diferentes programas de tratamiento, la educación y trabajo productivo realizado
en prisión, se analizará como conseguir dicho objetivo y, el papel que deben desempeñar los
profesionales de los centros penitenciarios para lograrlo.
Así mismo, también se analizará, las características arquitectónicas que debe tener una prisión
orientada hacia dicho fin, y con ello, se analizará la prisión española en comparación con otras
prisiones europeas.
The ultimate aim of custodial sentences is the reintegration and re-education of inmates. The
State must ensure that the period during which the offender is deprived of freedom serves to
make them want to respect the law and not reoffend once they return to society.
Through various treatment programs, education, and productive work done in prison, it will be
analyzed how to achieve this goal, as well as the role that prison staff must play to achieve it.
Additionally, the architectural features that a prison oriented toward this goal will be analyzed,
and based in this will be compared to other European prisons.
