<dim:field mdschema="dc" element="description" qualifier="abstract" lang="es">Las consecuencias negativas del consumo de alcohol han causado que, desde el siglo pasado, se haya tratado de limitar su publicidad.&#xd;
La legislación de la publicidad de bebidas alcohólicas trata de balancear intereses generales, como la salud pública, con especial atención en cuanto a menores de edad; y los intereses particulares de las empresas comercializadoras.&#xd;
Además de una legislación que se ha ido adaptando a los avances tecnológicos, tiene una gran relevancia la autorregulación publicitaria de la cerveza, el vino y las bebidas espirituosas.&#xd;
Las empresas tratan de adaptarse a las modificaciones normativas, encontrando formas novedosas de aumentar su actividad publicitaria.</dim:field>

Not only has there been an adaptation to technological progress by the legislation, but also autoregulation regarding beer, wine and spirituous drinks has been quite important.&#xd;
Businesses try to adapt to changes in regulation, finding original ways to increase their advertising activity.</dim:field>
