En este Trabajo de Fin de Grado se analizan los resultados de las elecciones al Parla mento Europeo para las nueve convocatorias celebradas en España entre el año 1987 y
2024, teniendo como objetivos principales la identificación de patrones ideológicos a nivel
provincial y el estudio de la abstención. Para ello, se emplean técnicas como el Análisis de
Correspondencias Simples, Análisis de Correspondencias Múltiples, la Regresión Lineal
Simple y Múltiple y el ANOVA, que permiten observar la evolución del comportamiento
electoral en España a lo largo de este periodo analizado.
In this work, the results of the European Parliament elections for the nine elections held
in Spain between 1987 and 2024 are analyzed, with the main objectives being the iden tification of ideological patterns at the provincial level and the study of the abstention.
To achieve this, techniques such as Simple Correspondence Analysis, Multiple Correspon dence Analysis, Multiple and Simple Lineal Regression, and ANOVA are employed, which
allow for the observation of the evolution of electoral behavior in Spain throughout the
analyzed period.
