llevó a cabo combinando técnicas instrumentales y métodos teóricos DFT
<dcterms:abstract>In this work, Cu(I) complexes were synthesized and isolated. It is known that
copper (I) disproportionates spontaneously to Cu(0) and Cu(II). For this reason,
soft ligands were coordinated to stabilize the metal center, specifically 2,6-
dimethylphenylisocyanide and ligands based on 2-mercaptopyridine were
employed. Characterization of the new synthesized species was performed with
experimental techniques and with DFT (density functional theory) theoretical
methods. Furthermore, the electrochemical properties of the novel complexes
were studied by cyclic voltammetry, and it was found that they show an
interesting activity in the electrochemical reduction of CO2.</dcterms:abstract>
