As a cultural narrative constructed by immigrant experiences, the main objective has been to establish the evolution of these experiences in the 19th century through Abraham Cahan's novel, Yekl: A Tale of the New York Guetto (1896) and the 20th century through Francis Coppola's film, The Godfather Part II (1974). The elements that demonstrate how both narrative works offer a critical vision of the American Dream will be analyzed, thus being able to frame each one respectively in different stages of its representation, enabling to trace its evolution. Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado estudia el mito fundacional del Sueño Americano desde la perspectiva de los inmigrantes. Como narrativa cultural que ha sido perpetuada por las experiencias en los inmigrantes, el objetivo principal ha sido establecer la evolución observable de estas en los siglos XIX y XX, a través de la novela de Abraham Cahan, Yekl: A Tale of the New York Guetto (1896) y la película de Francis Coppola, The Godfather Part II (1974).
