Durante mucho tiempo, el sistema educativo ha centrado su atención en las capacidades
cognitivas, relegando las emociones a un segundo plano. Este enfoque contradice el propósito
fundamental de la enseñanza, que busca promover el desarrollo integral del alumnado,
atendiendo todas sus dimensiones, incluida la emocional. Afortunadamente, cada vez más
personas reconocen la importancia de educar esta dimensión, esencial no solo para la
prevención de trastornos, sino también para el aprendizaje, la adaptación al entorno y el
bienestar personal. En este sentido, la educación emocional se plantea como una innovación
que responde a necesidades no contempladas por el currículo, aunque su presencia en las aulas
sigue siendo insuficiente. En concreto, en este Trabajo Fin de Grado se presenta una propuesta
de intervención para el alumnado del primer curso de educación infantil, una etapa crucial para
sentar las bases del autoconocimiento y la regulación emocional.
For a long time, the education system has focused on cognitive abilities, relegating emotions to
the background. This approach contradicts the fundamental purpose of education, which seeks
to promote the integral development of students, taking into account all its dimensions,
including the emotional. Fortunately, more and more people recognize the importance of
educating this dimension, which is essential not only for preventing disorders but also for
learning, adaptation to the environment and personal well-being. In this sense, emotional
education is seen as an innovation that responds to needs not covered by the curriculum,
although its presence in classrooms remains insufficient. In particular, this Final Degree Project
presents an intervention proposal for students in the first year of early childhood education, a
crucial stage in laying the foundation for emotional identification and regulation.
