El propósito del presente trabajo es demostrar que el uso puntual del inglés en las aulas
bilingües de primaria no es perjudicial para la adquisición del segundo idioma, además
de la relación que se puede observar entre la metodología AICLE y la creatividad. En este
caso y para probar la eficacia del CLIL en las aulas bilingües, se ha llevado a cabo una
unidad didáctica en la asignatura de plástica (o arts), cuyo propósito ha sido el desarrollo
de la creatividad de los alumnos y alumnas además de la expansión de su conocimiento
sobre la historia del arte. Con este proyecto se ha querido realizar una introducción hacia
un formato de la asignatura más cultural y enriquecedor.
Para ello se ha realizado una investigación que cubre varios puntos: beneficios del
bilingüismo en edades tempranas, orígenes y características de la metodología CLIL,
tipos de andamiaje que se deben llevar a cabo en aulas con dicha metodología, el análisis
de diversos artículos sobre el uso de la lengua materna en las aulas bilingües, y en último
lugar, los aportes del arte y cómo este se relaciona con la metodología, además de su
posición e importancia en las aulas.
The purpose of the current paper is to demonstrate that the occasional use of English in
bilingual primary classrooms is not damaging to the acquisition of the second language,
in addition to the relationship that can be observed between CLIL methodology and
creativity. In this case, and in order to test the effectiveness of CLIL in bilingual
classrooms, a didactic unit has been carried out in the subject of arts, whose purpose is to
develop the creativity of the students as well as to expand their knowledge of art’s history.
This project has been done to make an introduction to a more cultural and enriching
format of the subject.
To acknowledge this, a research has been carried out covering several points: benefits of
bilingualism at early ages, origins and characteristics of the CLIL methodology, types of
scaffolding that should be carried out in classrooms with this methodology, the analysis
of various articles on the use of the mother tongue in bilingual classrooms, and finally,
the contributions of art and how it relates to the methodology, as well as its position and
importance in the classroom.
