<dim:field mdschema="dc" element="description" qualifier="abstract" lang="es">Se dan a conocer nuevas pinturas del Maestro de los Santos Juanes, pintor anónimo que trabajó en el sur de la diócesis de León entre 1520 y 1545, cuya obra refleja la paulatina asimilación de nuevos recursos formales. Partiendo de un estilo deudor de Juan de Flandes, incorpora la influencia de Juan de Borgoña y, más tarde, de la estampa rafaelesca.</dim:field>
<dim:field mdschema="dc" element="description" qualifier="abstract" lang="es">New paintings by the Maestro de los Santos Juanes, an anonymous painter who worked in the south of the León diocese between 1520 and 1545, are brought to light. His works reflect the gradual assimilation of new formal resources, starting from a style which owed much to that of Juan de Flandes, and which incorporates the influence of Juan de Borgoña and, later on, the engravings by Raphael.</dim:field>
