La pacificación de los pueblos del norte de Hispania

First of all, we focus our attention on the resistance and assimilation of the "Pueblos del Norte" marking three periods: one prior to 26 BC, one between 26 and 15 BC and another one later than 15 BC; we also study the army reorganization; the payment to the legionaries; the army as the first romanisation element and how it influences in the economic and social Iife of the natives. Secondly, we draw our attention on the political-judicial-administrative organization of the lands in the north as a result of the conquest. We finish with a summary of the Roman presence assessment in Asturias and Cantabria during the occupation period.
En primer lugar nos ocupamos de la resistencia y asimilación de los "Pueblos del Norte" diferenciando tres períodos, el anterior al 26 a.C., el comprendido entre el 26 y el 15 a.C. y el posterior al 15 a.C.; de la reorganización del ejército; del pago a los legionarios; del ejército como primer elemento romanizador y de su incidencia en la vida económica y social indigena. En segundo lugar de la organización político-juridico-administrativa de las tierras del norte a raíz de la conquista. Concluyo con el resumen de la valoración de la presencia romana en Asturia y Cantabria durante la etapa de ocupación.
