Fomento de la creatividad en la asignatura de Tecnología y Digitalización a través del Aprendizaje Basado en Proyectos (ABP) y un enfoque STEAM

La falta de creatividad en los alumnos de Educación Secundaria es un problema significativo
que ha sido objeto de estudio por parte de numerosos docentes e investigadores durante
años. Este fenómeno se atribuye a diversos factores, entre los que se incluye el uso exclusivo
de metodologías tradicionales de enseñanza, centradas en la memorización y repetición de
contenidos, la falta de interés y motivación del alumnado, o la predominancia de actividades
con soluciones únicas y predefinidas. Todo ello coarta significativamente la libertad de
pensamiento y la capacidad creativa de los estudiantes.
En este contexto, el presente Trabajo de Fin de Máster (TFM) tiene dos objetivos principales.
En primer lugar, realizar un breve estudio sobre la creatividad en las aulas, identificando las
barreras que limitan su desarrollo y explorando cómo mejorarla, centrándose en analizar dos
posibles estrategias de mejora como son el Aprendizaje Basado en Proyectos(ABP) y el
enfoque STEAM (Ciencia, Tecnología, Ingeniería, Arte y Matemáticas) donde ambos
involucran a los estudiantes, enriquecen el proceso educativo y estimulan la creatividad y la
imaginación. En segundo lugar, realizar una propuesta de proyecto de ABP para el curso de
3º de la ESO en la comunidad de Castilla y León. el cual tiene como propósito principal
fomentar la creatividad del alumnado, utilizando el enfoque STEAM y alineándose con varios
de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) establecidos por la ONU. La propuesta
educativa estará orientada a promover la investigación, el pensamiento crítico y la resolución
de problemas en el ámbito de la tecnología, proporcionando a los estudiantes una
experiencia de aprendizaje integral y multidisciplinaria.
Este trabajo busca aportar una posible solución al problema de la falta de creatividad en las
aulas de secundaria, demostrando que es posible transformar el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje, fomentando un entorno educativo más dinámico, inclusivo y orientado al
futuro.
The lack of creativity among secondary education students is a significant issue that has been
studied by numerous educators and researchers for years. This phenomenon is attributed to
various factors, including the exclusive use of traditional teaching methodologies focused on
memorization and repetition of content, the lack of interest and motivation among students,
and the predominance of activities with unique, predefined solutions. All these factors
significantly hinder the students' freedom of thought and creative capacity.
In this context, the present Master's Thesis (TFM) has two main objectives. Firstly, to conduct
a brief study on creativity in the classroom, identifying the barriers that limit its development
and exploring ways to enhance it, focusing on two potential improvement strategies:
Project-Based Learning (PBL) and the STEAM approach (Science, Technology, Engineering,
Arts, and Mathematics). Both strategies involve students, enrich the educational process,
and stimulate creativity and imagination. Secondly, to propose a PBL project for the 3rd year
of secondary education in the Castilla y León community, which aims to foster students'
creativity using the STEAM approach and aligning with several Sustainable Development
Goals (SDGs) established by the UN. The educational proposal will be oriented towards
promoting research, critical thinking, and problem-solving in the field of technology,
providing students with an integral and multidisciplinary learning experience.
This work aims to offer a possible solution to the problem of the lack of creativity in
secondary school classrooms, demonstrating that it is possible to transform the teachinglearning process and foster a more dynamic, inclusive, and future-oriented educational
environment.
