In this way, teaching and the organizational system this institution has is clearly different from which we can find in other educational centers. The present work intends to transmit these differences that, on many occasions, are unknown.The main aim is to communicate the advantages and disadvantages which entail teaching in such schools, as well as didactic-curricular resources offered by the rural surroundings.To do so, it is carried out a collective case study (of six units education) whereby it is expected to know and comprehend the study object in a collective way.As a methodological technique, it was used the interview, given that reconstructing the narratives allowed to know all agents point of view involved in rural school: students, teachers and family.The main results corroborate some aspects of rural school which are indicated in the specialised literature, but many others are denied or demystified.
