AB The thesis describes the process of study and selection of the materials, variables ofthe process in the electrical resistance spot welding, monitoring system and thedescription of the mechanical test made for measure the mechanical quality of theunions.We want to describe and take control of all the variables of the process to be able tomake correlations between the values of the different test (cross tension test and lapshear), which determinate the quality of the union, and the values with we weld. Forknowing how is welding the machine, we need to study how can the machine fix theparameters. For measure the variables and verify the process, we need to use severalmonitoring systemsAlso, it is described the manufacture process of manufacture a fixture to make thecross tension test.
