RT info:eu-repo/semantics/article T1 Traducción literaria y apropiación: apuntes para una tipología causal A1 Herrero Quirós, Carlos A2 Ediciones Universidad de Valladolid K1 Filología Inglesa AB Literary translation always involves some degree of appropriation. More particularly, the strategies deployed by translators, whether consciously or unconsciously, in conducting such an appropriation are worth studying from several angles ranging from comparative stylistics to the history of poetics and including such disciplines as reception history or sociology of literature, to mention but a few. This paper points at some of the motivations underlying these processes and provides a few examples.
