AB This dissertation is an analysis of characters´ trauma in the novel Anil´s Ghost. Trauma isthe consequence of a traumatic episode sufferd by a person and people has many differentreactions to a traumatic event. There are different kinds of trauma too and this work isfocused on trauma in literary fiction from the point of view of psychoanalitic theory. In thiswork the main characters of the book, their different reactions to trauma and each one´spossible traumatic event which causes trauma are presented.
