AB During the Spanish Bourbon's Restauration, the traditional masonic concept of human progress maybe equated with the modernization of society . The Castile and Leon's lodges shall try to make an inroad in two areas: education and politics. Concerning the first area, secularizing the education amount to secularizing the society. On the other hand the democratic sociability advocate by the lodges would be a source of inspirations for a complete democratization of the country.
