AB The pourpose of this article is to revise the meaning of the latinamerican "populísm" from a double perspective. The first one remits to the design of a theoric-methodologic mark, of which case produce definitions. The second dimension implies an analysis about the historic-effective situations, that are been named "populists", taking into consideration an articulation of booth levels in the search of a global explanation.
