AB Those of us who work on British Romantic literature in the SpanishAcademia are more than grateful when a colleague’s work on the subject comesto light. This is the case with Agustin Coletes Blanco’s translation of Byron’scorrespondence, minor poems and varia, written during hispeculiar Grand Tourthrough Portugal, Spain, Malta, Albania, Greece, Turkey and the Troad betweenJune 1809 and July 1811. It is certainly a ‘Mediterranean’ version of theconventional Grand Tour.
