RT info:eu-repo/semantics/article T1 Un singular tríptico flamenco en las colecciones de Isabel la Católica A1 Martens, Didier A2 Ediciones Universidad de Valladolid K1 Arte AB A singular triptych has been listed and shortly described in an inventory of the estate of Isabella of Castile (1451-1504) taken on 26 february 1505 at the castle of Toro (Zamora). Opened, it showed eight scenes of the Life of Christ, beginning with the Annonciation and ending by the Mass of St Gregory. It can be identified with a late fifteenth-century flemish triptych with wings subdivided in two registers, which is known to us through a photograph in the Moreno Archive (Madrid). This work sheds a new light on Isabella's artistic taste and confirms the particular interest of the spanish clients for flemish triptychs subdivided in more narrative fields.
