AB The use of allegories has been and still is a very common resource in all historical periods, for, from ancient times on, it became a tool to claim values and disseminate ideology. In this paper, we deal with the meaning of the Goddess Diana/Artemis at the augustean house and her influence over the legitimation process of the imperial princesses, Augustean.
