AB In this paper we analyze some aspects of the current European environmentalpolicy from two perspectives: firstly, in its origin, which requires taking intoaccount the recent amendments to the primary law (Lisbon Treaty) and secondarylegislation in the light of action programs and on the other hand, applicationstate, which examines the interpretation and application of European environmentalprinciples and their corollaries (in particular the controversial principlesof cost recovery and non-regression).
