RT info:eu-repo/semantics/article T1 Efectos de la actividad física en alumnos de primaria (con y sin expresión y educación físico-motora y psicomotricidad) A1 Faustino, Antonio José D. A2 Ediciones Universidad de Valladolid AB This investigation is according with a Interculutral Research Project covering a period of four academic years (studing children from Primary School since 1st to 4th grade), who had for main purpose a longitudinal investigation of the effects of regular physical activity, oriented to child develpoment. The project was evaluated with the implementation of an experimental and a control group. In the course of the project, both experimental and control groups were assessed with two bateries of motor tests, that give us the possibility to evaluate conditional and coordenative motor capacities (with the enfasis on the second ones), in the beginning and at the end of intervention periods. The selection of the sample for the experimental group was realized in a non casual form by the method of convenience, consisiting in 18 members, 8 boys and 10 girls (Escola n.º 6 do Agrupamento de Escolas "Os Pioneiros" de Castelo Branco). The selection of control group was also made with children avalilability, 8 boys and 5 girls. Both groups started at 1st grade, with an average of seven years old. Each scholar year, in the beginning of classes we applied a pré-test, and from this time children from experimental group received lessons of Psychomotricity two times a week, with a program clairly defined for this age group. At the end of May we applied post-tests, so that we can assess the developments that occurs. On the basis of data and statistic analysis we can conclude that:1) Respecting hyphotesis 1, it's not fully confirmed. During the time of the project the experimental group get better results in some trial while control group get better results on others (specially conditionals).2) In relation to hyphotesis 2, it's not fully confirmed, since boys get better results than girls in almost trials.3) Relativelly to hyphotesis 3, we verified that the in the group of children wich received regular physical activity, exists improvement in all the trails but not always with statistical significance.
