In this context, we analyze the most substantive changes in the syllabus design and the ways these have given origin to different representations and practices within the PE teachers training process.We seek to illustrate how curricular changes express the regime of truth at a historical given time about howPE teachers should be trained.We look at the curricula reforms since the creation, in 1953, of the University studies to become PE teacher, in order to analize continuities and discontinuities.
