RT info:eu-repo/semantics/article T1 Análisis comparativo de diferentes modelos de enseñanza para la iniciación al atletismo A1 Gómez Mármol, Alberto A1 Calderón Luquin, Antonio A1 Valero Valenzuela, Alfonso A2 Ediciones Universidad de Valladolid AB Early sport experiences condition the adequate development of many very important variables related to the practice of sports. In this study, four models applied to youth athletics initiation have been analyzed: Ludotechnical Model, Sport Education, Athletics Challenges and Playing Athletics Model. The paper focuses on the theoretical premises upon which they are built, their goals, priorities, methodology, required logistical resources and the outcomes reached with their implementation. Ludotechnical Model and Athletics Challenges are emphasized due to their specificity to athletics. Both models, together with Sport Education, highlight the role of the affective-social field to succeed in athletics practice. On the other hand, one of the the strengths of the Playing Athletics Model is its potential to attract large number of youngsters to participate in a team-based competition system, although it lacks of a specific methodological proposal.
