From the beginning of the Early Neolithic and through the Late Neolithic and the Copper Age this sets of goods were severely transformed. This paper focuses on an analysis proposal based on quantifying variables such as 1) the amount of energy or work wasted on their production, 2) the number of colours employed, and 3) the proportion of population who used them. It also focuses on identifying the dynamics of these variables along the time. After the analysis it can be said that between the Early Neolithic and the Copper Age the energy wasted on production and the number of colours employed grown while the proportion of people who used them decreased. At the same time, the size and density of the networks along which these artefacts were exchanged also grown. These dynamics could be interpreted as a process in which sociotechnic artefacts changed from being used for showing different aspects of the social person -sex, age, associations, etc.- to being used for showing, in the most cases, rank inequalities.
