AB This paper focuses on analyzing and comparing the terminology extracted from twocomparable bilingual corpora based on abstracts and information articles. Both corporadeal with the field of gerontology. It aims to depict the criterion followed to compile thecorpora; to show how these corpora have been used in order to extract the usefulterminology and create a glossary; and, to analyze and compare the results. Moreover,another objective of this study is to shed some light in this field to which little attentionhas been given in terms of corpus analysis
