The main aim of this paper is to observe the evolution of the translation of neologisms by comparing two Spanish translations of Carroll’s works published in 1986 and 1999, respectively. Results intend to offer an example on the evolution of the way in which translators approach neologisms in the translation of literature, demonstrating that the field of translation evolves hand in hand with the gradual development of language.
