AB Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a condition that affects people’s ability to interact, communicate and behave properly. This dissertation explains the main traits of this disorder in order to raise awareness of the special needs that Autistic people have. In addition to this, it is also the aim of this paper to provide the readers with a teaching project for the “English as a Foreign Language” classroom that meets not only the Autistic students’ requirements, but also the non-Autistic children’s ones. This teaching project is based on a group performance of one of Shakespeare’s plays, in this case A Midsummer Night’s Dream (1595), the students having to accomplish a series of previous tasks in order to perform the play successfully.
