The first one is that ofcompiling and listing all the international recommendations, official dispositions at the nationallevel, the educational laws in the autonomous community of Castilla y León, and the center´sdocuments that affect the action of teaching English as a foreign language during the secondcycle of Secondary Education. The second one is that of proposing a trimester syllabusstructured around five units and which has been conceived as part of an annual syllabus, andabout which all the relevant details at the curricular, didactic, and methodological levels arethoroughly explained.
