AB Aunque la aplicación de herramientas de Lean Manufacturing muestra uncrecimiento incesante a nivel mundial en la mayoría de las empresas, su uso esaún reducido en la creciente red de FabLabs. Por eso, este tipo de organizacionesdeben buscar herramientas que les permitan continuar siendo eficientes.En el presente trabajo se van a exponer brevemente los principios y herramientasdel Lean Manufacturing, y se va a describir la implantación de alguna de ellasdentro del FabLab de la Fundación General de la Universidad de Valladolid.El principal objetivo es establecer mejoras que permitan aumentar la productividad,eficiencia y coordinación del FabLab de la FunGe, siguiendo en todo momento lafilosofía Lean.Palabras clave: FabLab, Lean Manufacturing, implantación, eficiencia, mejora.ABSTRACTAlthough the application of Lean Manufacturing tools shows an incessant growthworldwide in the most companies, its use is still reduced in the growing FabLabsnetwork. For this reason, this type of organizations must search tools that allowthem to continue being efficient.In this work, the principles and tools of Lean Manufacturing will be briefly exposed,and the implementation of some of them within the FabLab of the GeneralFoundation of the University of Valladolid will be described.The main objective is to establish improvements that increase the productivity,efficiency, and coordination of FunGe's FabLab, following the Lean philosophy.Keywords: FabLab, Lean Manufacturing, implementation, efficiency, improvement.
