Internationaldeterminations concerning language teaching and the promotion of the multilingual keycompetence, lead to focus on the regulation of foreign language teaching in the national andregional education system and, in particular, on school documents. In the case of the latter,the School Language Project is a very relevant point of interest for the Secondary Educationstage. Its study serves as a basis for dealing in a didactic way with the integration of thelanguages of schooling and the gradual development of the communicative competence of thestudents throughout the stage. A proposal for a School Language Project is presented, whichcontains lines of action, objectives, participants, methodology and resources, among otherelements. Finally, final aspects are provided which conclude about the planning of this typeof project and its integration in Secondary Education schools.
