This domino silyl-Prins/aryl migration process is general and high-yielding for aryl, vinyl, or alkyl aldehydes. Moreover, cyclization proceeds with very high stereocontrol in a one-pot reaction in which both quaternary and tertiary stereogenic centers have been created.
