Alongside with anxiety, Emotional Intelligence (EI) also plays an important role in this field, as it manages humans’ emotions and having a low EI would likewise impair the correct development of language skills. The main purpose of this paper is to cast light on this issue, which has been considered a mystery to date given the scarcity of research done on it to know which areas of expertise in English are the most affected. Apart from considering theories by prestigious authorities, an own work survey is also carried out to have a better insight into this issue. The potential solutions to this problem will be given by Cognitive Psychology in speaking, writing, listening, and reading skills.
