In schools, knowledge of the cultural aspects of the foreign language being studied is often given a secondary role. The aim of this Final Degree Project is to show the importance of culture in English language learning. To accomplish this, an intervention proposal is designed that establishes the work in English classes, covering the cultural contents of the countries where this language is spoken. This intervention is carried out in the 5th and 6th grades of Primary Education. It is a proposal that encourages a communicative approach to teaching and enables the development of students' essential skills. The proposed work involves a change in the work dynamics established in class and demands a great deal of autonomy and responsibility from the students. Students develop their critical sense, investigate and are aware of their learning. It is a project that manages to awaken students' interest in learning a foreign language and motivates them to work with more involvement and dedication YR 2021 FD 2021 LK https://uvadoc.uva.es/handle/10324/51537 UL https://uvadoc.uva.es/handle/10324/51537 LA eng DS UVaDOC RD 24-nov-2024
