It has been shown that these objectives can be achieved through the introduction of literature in the classroom, as it is a cultural representation from which the development of learners’ communicative and intercultural competence can be fostered. For these reasons, the main purpose of this Master’s degree project is to use the benefits of literature to teach the English language and culture, as well as to promote the students’ personal growth. To this end, Mary Shelley’s novel Frankenstein has been selected, and tasks using ICT and Gamification have been developed in order to present an innovative proposal that moves away from traditional methods.
